Junior STARs Camp (7 - 9 years)

​

Students in grades 2 - 4 will engage in a 5-day in-person camp reading from the Wishtree, a children's book by Katherine Applegate, engage in arts & craft, and learn about:

  • friendship

  • community

  • diversity

  • literacy

  • social-emotional learning

Super STARs Camp (10 - 12 years)

 

Students in grades 5 - 7 will engage in a 5-day in-person camp being coached on how to make sound financial decision by weighing the potential benefits and expected costs of their choices. Areas to be covered include:

  • what is finance?

  • need vs. want

  • SMART goals

  • budgeting

  • career & income

  • financial decisions

Senior STARs Camp (≥ 13 years)

Middle and high school students will begin to map out their short- and long-term goals – whether it's their dream career, a personal challenge, or even just their overall aspirations. They will create a collage of inspiring pictures, words, and quotes that represents who they are and what they hope to become. Students will discuss:

  • self

  • family

  • community

  • goals

  • aspirations

  • motivations
